When a deep clean is the right call
A regular clean keeps a home ticking over. A deep clean is for the moments when that is not enough. A seasonal reset in spring, the week before family arrive for Christmas, the first clean after a renovation, or a house that simply has not had proper attention for a while.
It is also the sensible first step before starting a regular service. One deep clean brings the whole house up to a clean baseline, and every regular visit afterwards only has to maintain it.
What gets done that a regular clean skips
The bathroom is where the difference shows most. Grout and tile joints are scrubbed back, soap scum is lifted off glass and chrome, and the corners that normally get a wipe get real attention. In the kitchen we clean inside the fridge, the microwave and the dishwasher, not only the worktops.
Then the details that make a room feel finished: skirting boards, window sills, door frames, light switches and light fittings. These are the places dust builds up for months because nobody thinks to look at them, and they are the first things to make a house feel properly clean once they are done.
Ovens are a supplement, so ask us
Oven cleaning is not included in the hourly rate for a deep clean. It is charged as a supplement, and the right price depends on the oven, so please ask us when booking and we will give you a number up front. For reference, our standalone oven cleaning is £40 for a single and £70 for a double.
Keeping it separate means you only pay for it if you want it, and the hours you have booked go on the rest of the house.
Time, price and what to expect
Deep cleans are £30 an hour with a three hour minimum, and eco-friendly products are included. How many hours you need depends on the size of the house and how long it has been since the last proper clean, so we talk it through first rather than quote blind.
Our cleaners are vetted, reference checked, insured and DBS checked. If you would rather not be in while we work, a key handover is fine. A reviewer who had us in for deep cleans described them as second to none, and attention to detail is exactly what we are selling.
